Using Tags, Traits, and Moods

Tags, traits, and moods help you capture the unique details of every date and make it easier to spot patterns over time. Here’s how to use them in LoveJournal:


🏷️ What Are Tags, Traits, and Moods?

  • Tags: Quick keywords or phrases that describe the date (e.g., “fun,” “awkward,” “first date,” “deep talk”).
  • Traits: Personality characteristics you noticed in your date or yourself (e.g., “adventurous,” “kind,” “ambitious”).
  • Moods: How you felt during or after the date (e.g., “excited,” “nervous,” “disappointed,” “hopeful”).

How to Add Tags, Traits, and Moods

  1. Log or Edit a Date Entry
    • Go to the Dates tab and click + Add Date or select an existing entry to edit.

      Find the Tags/Traits/Moods Section

    • Look for fields labeled Tags, Traits, or Moods in the date form.

      Select or Add Tags

    • Choose from suggested tags, traits, and moods, or type your own custom ones.
    • You can add multiple tags to each entry.

      Save Your Entry

    • Click Save or Update to record your selections.

Why Use Tags, Traits, and Moods?

  • Spot Patterns: See which traits or moods show up most often in your dating history.
  • AI Insights: The more you tag, the smarter your insights and recommendations become.
  • Search & Filter: Easily find past dates by searching for specific tags or moods.
